Kami Tenka

Kami Tenka literally means 'Descent from Heaven'. After making a pact with a certain god, that person's family/clan gain the ability to tap into it's power. For instance, the Kami Tenka for Ares would have amazing strategic abilities, as well as intense taijutsu and genjutsu with the cost of ninjutsu.

The Kami Tenka's powers must be awakened after giving in to the god's influence, resulting in a change physically as well as spiritually. Generically, all Kami Tenka have the name or a short prayer for the god written in a black ink-like substance around their wrist or neck. All Awakened have it in white.
